Carelli, Pansa and Varriale Winners of the 31st Edition

Emilio Carelli, Director of Sky 24, is also the winner of the 31st edition of the International Ischia Prize – Journalist of the Year Award. The award was conferred by the jury composed by Valentina Alazaraki, Bianca Berlinguer, Mario Calabresi , Luigi Contu, Gaetano Coscia, Virman Cusenza, Giuseppe Di Piazza, Massimo Giannini, Franzo Grande Stevens, David Grossman, Giuseppe Marra, Augusto Minzolini, Roberto Napoletano, Joaquin Navarro Valls, Mario Orfeo, Gianni Riotta and Peter Stothard. By the end of the month of April, the jury will designate the recognition that intends to award a person that stands out in international journalism. The jury has lastly assigned a special prize to Gianpaolo Pansa’s carrier, author of many romances and contemporary history essays. Enrico Variale , Raisport correspondant has instead received the Sports journalist of the year award by the jury composed of Maurizio Ughi, Piercarlo Presutti, Danilo Di Tommaso, Manuela Righini, Antonello Valentini e Massimo Corcione. The Premio Ischia award ceremony under the Patronage of the President of the Republic, the National Order of Journalists, and the National Federation of the Press, promoted by the Valentino Foundation, will be held the 4th of July at the Negombo of Lacco Ameno broadcasted by Rai Uno.
