Francesco Guerrera, The Wall Street Journal’s Money & Investing Editor, writes a weekly column on finance and Wall Street. Francesco joined the Journal in May 2011 after nearly a decade at the Financial Times. In his career, Francesco has covered finance and politics in London, Brussels, Hong Kong and, for the past five years, New York.Francesco has won a Foreign Press Association award for an investigation into "blood diamonds," an Overseas Press Award for a scoop on CNOOC’s bid for Unocal, and a SABEW award for a video series on the collapse of Lehman Brothers.Francesco was born in Milan and graduated with a first class degree from City University in London.
